CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball returns home to Hayes Stadium hosting Middle Tennessee in a three-game Conference USA series that begins on Friday night. The second half of the league season will begin this weekend as the Niners have three of the final five series at home.
Charlotte (21-16, 9-6) comes off their third win of the year against top-25 competition defeating #17 Wake Forest 6-1 on Tuesday night. Jackson Mims led the way with three doubles and a pair of runs driven in while T.J. Nichting also collected three of the Niners 12 hits.
