CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team will head north to UNCG facing the Spartans for a midweek Tuesday night matchup. Charlotte will look to snap a two-game skid against a UNCG team who has already posted 20 wins this season.
Charlotte (15-12) looks to rebound off the first Conference USA series loss over the weekend in which visiting UAB took a 4-3 win in Sunday's rubber game to clinch the series. Josh Maciejewski led the 49ers to a 7-1 win in Thursday's opener before the Niners carried a 3-0 lead after five on Sunday, but saw the Blazers rally for the 4-3 win.
