CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers will hit the road for the first time in 2017 traveling south to Columbia taking on the #4 ranked South Carolina Gamecocks at 4:00 p.m. The contest will be aired live on SEC Network +, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. Both teams took two out of three in their season-opening home series.
Charlotte (2-1) began the year by winning their series against West Virginia with a pair of victories on Friday and Saturday. The season began with a pair of RBI doubles by Conference USA "Hitter of the Week" Jackson Mims.
