CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball made some loud history on Tuesday night after recording a 9-0 shutout victory over 14th-ranked Tennessee inside Hayes Stadium. The Niners hit four bombs on the night to retake the national lead, snapped the Vols five-game win streak and their 14-game midweek win streak.
"Austin Marozas tonight was spectacular," started Head Coach Robert Woodard. "He was in total control of his outing from start to finish. I thought Spencer, Sam and Jackson were all fantastic for us on the mound tonight. This was a total team win.
