CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kent State jump-started the offense with a four-run second inning and held on the rest of the way claiming a 11-6 victory over Charlotte on Sunday afternoon.

“We just made it way too easy for Kent State today,” commented Head Coach Loren Hibbs. “We gave ourselves chances late, but we have to make it more difficult for our opponents to score runs. We have not played well the last couple of days.”

Kent State (6-3) put together their two-out rally with back-to-back walks by Zach Beckner and Tim Dalporto before two-straight base hits by Josh Hollander and Luke Burch put the Golden Flashes on the board.
