CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the sixth time in program history, the Charlotte baseball program is headed to the NCAA postseason traveling to the NCAA Greenville Regional beginning Friday. The 49ers, earning a #2 seed becoming the highest-ever in program history and second overall at-large bid, get the invite from the NCAA for the first time since 2011.
"This is exciting," started Head Coach Robert Woodard. "It's a lot of hard work and effort that has gone into today. This is a great day for Charlotte baseball. Seeing our players react today and see how excited they were to be announced as one of the 64 teams is tremendous.
