CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After spending a majority of two weeks on the road, the Charlotte baseball team will return home Tuesday night to start playing eight of their final 11 games inside Hayes Stadium. UNCG comes to Charlotte for a 6:00 p.m. contest that once again features $2 tickets, $2 concession items and free Chick Fil A to the first 50 students.
Charlotte (16-26-1) will look to build off the weekend's positive momentum after taking the Conference USA series at FIU. The 49ers doubled up the Panthers 6-3 in Friday's opener before erasing a 9-4 deficit through seven, force extra innings, then win it in the top of the 14th by a final of 10-9.
