CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte baseball returns to Hayes Stadium when they host Western Carolina for a three-game series beginning Friday afternoon. The two teams meet for the first time since 2010 with first pitches scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. finale on Sunday.

Charlotte (6-1) will look to bounce back from a tough 9-7 loss in their first road game of the year at UNCG on Tuesday afternoon. After the Niners scored five in the eighth to take a 7-4 lead, the Spartans put up their own five-run frame to take the lead back and held on for good.
