NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Charlotte women's golf posted their second-straight sub-300 round to head into Sunday's final round in fifth place at Yale's Women's Intercollegiate. Madison Barnett led the way Saturday with an even-par round of 71.
Barnett got her day started off very well with an opening birdie on one followed by two more on three and four to sit three-under after four. A pair of bogies on the front side par three's made her turn at one-under 34. On the back, a bogey on the 10th followed by a birdie-bogey pursuit on 13 and 14 helped end her day at 71.
