Balanced Scoring Keys Road Win Over Owls

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Four Charlotte players reached double-figure scoring, led by a double-double from sophomore Grace Hunter, and the 49ers escaped Florida Atlantic with a 72-66 victory Thursday night. The triumph keeps the Niners in a three-way tie for first place in the Conference USA standings.

Hunter tallied her fourth double-double of the season, and 11th of her career, with game highs of 26 points and 13 rebounds.
Also pouring in double-figure points for Charlotte (16-5, 8-2 C-USA) were senior Ciara Gregory with 17, senior Lefty Webster with 13 and redshirt junior Nyilah Jamison-Myers with 10.
