CHARLOTTE, N.C. – No. 43 Charlotte women's tennis continued to rewrite the record books in 2021, as a Saturday morning 6-1 triumph over Middle Tennessee established a new program standard for single-season home wins. The match was moved to the morning to accommodate any potential inclement weather arriving in the Charlotte area later in the day.
HOME RECORD TAKEOVER
The Niners improved to 13-0 on their home courts, either indoors at Life Time Fitness in south Charlotte or outdoors at the on-campus Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex facility. The 13 victories surpass the previous mark of 12, established by the 1985-86 squad.
