CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Setter Annika Thompson from Tennessee is the latest addition to the 2020 Charlotte volleyball roster announced by Head Coach Karen Weatherington on Tuesday morning.
TITLE TOWN IN TENNESSEE
Thompson, from St. George's Independent School in Collierville, Tennessee, just led the Gryphons to a 2019 Division II Class A State Championship with a 3-1 win over Concord Christian. Playing on the varsity team for five years, Thompson helped St. George's make four trips to the state playoffs. The Gryphons took home a pair of third place finishes in 2015 and 2016, a fourth in 2018 and won it all in October.
