WILMINGTON, N.C. – The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) has named Charlotte’s Alexis Alexander and Lefty Webster to its all-state second team, as announced by the organization Wednesday.
It marks the fourth time in head coach Cara Consuegra’s five seasons the 49ers were represented on the squads and the third year in which the program received multiple selections.
Alexander, who graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, was voted Charlotte’s MVP after putting together her best season in the Niners uniform. She capped her career with an All-Conference USA Second Team accolade, leading the 49ers in scoring (14.
