Before we kick off the 2017-18 campaign for Charlotte football, let’s take a look back at how last season went.
The season started off with a tough road contest against then #21 Louisville and the Niners dropped the contest, 70-14. Charlotte returned home the next week for their first season victory and lone home win against Elon, 47-14.
The Niners dropped their next two contests against Temple and Old Dominion before sophomore quarterback Hasaan Klugh took the reigns of the offense heading into the Florida Atlantic game. Klugh went on to throw for 223 yards and three touchdowns complimented by 54 rushing yards and a touchdown, an impressive first start for the young quarterback.
