CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte hit a season-high .327 led by ' .889 mark with eight kills during the 49ers sweep (25-20, 25-23, 25-15) against Eastern Washington on Friday afternoon. Charlotte had just six hitting errors, a new season-best, with nine blocks on defense to aid in the win.
"It was great to start the weekend with a dominant victory," remarked Head Coach . "We really pulled together and played low error volleyball. Kaylyn and Alex made big plays in the second set to help raise our level. Our setters executed the offense well and our hitters were in great rhythm.
