CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte volleyball heads to Furman on Tuesday night for one final tune up before kicking off Conference USA play on Friday night. The 49ers will begin their 14-match league schedule Friday at league rival Marshall.
Charlotte (6-7) put up another tough fight in their first four match week of the season falling to USC Upstate in five last Tuesday, before topping High Point in five opening up Wake Forest's Black & Gold Invitational on Friday. The 49ers saw Molly Shaw put down 14 kills followed by Janell Sparks' 10 while Jocelyn Stoner led the defense with 11 total blocks.
