CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A 10-0, 5-inning blowout in game one and a 8-3 comeback victory in the second game gave the Charlotte softball team two very important wins over Conference USA-foe North Texas on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the D.L. Phillips Softball Complex.
The two victories boost the 49ers record to 21-17 overall and 4-7 in conference play while the Mean Green fall to 18-15 including a 6-5 mark in C-USA.
GAME ONE
Both sides opted to pitch their aces in the circle right off the bat today as junior Haley Wiseman got the nod for Charlotte and senior Stacey Underwood was handed the ball for North Texas.
