Browns Summit, N.C. – Freshman Cecilie Finne-Ipsen tied the 49ers single-round record to lead Charlotte women's golf to a fourth-place finish at the prestigious Bryan National Collegiate, Sunday. The 17-team event included six top 50 teams. Charlotte trailed two of the top 50 teams and defeated four of them.
Charlotte finished the three-day event at 12-over par, 876 following today's round of nine-over par.
Host Wake Forest, ranked 12th in the country, won the event at 34-under-par, 32 strokes ahead of second-place North Carolina. The 36th-ranked Tar Heels finished at two-under par.
