CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte 49ers baseball team will host a fall exhibition against the Czech Republic national team on Tuesday, October 17th at 5:00 p.m. to kick off Homecoming 2017. The game will be the first of three baseball events during Homecoming week, highlighted with a team/alumni tailgate prior to the 49ers football game at 6:00 p.m.
The Czech Republic squad will visit the Niners inside Hayes Stadium on Tuesday in their seventh and final stop taking on college baseball teams around the Carolinas. First pitch is set for 5:00 p.m., will feature nine innings of play with wood bats and admission is free to all.
