Charlotte, N.C. -- Charlotte 49ers head men’s basketball coach Ron Sanchez announced that 6-foot-5 guard Marvin Cannon has transferred from Washington State to Charlotte. Cannon finished second in the Pac-12 in free-throw shooting percentage in 2019 as well as earning All-Conference honors at Barton Community College as a freshman.
“Marvin is a terrific young man and I’m so happy he has decided to join our program,” Sanchez said “He brings solid experience from playing in the Pac-12. Marvin really embodies our pillars (humility, passion, unity, servanthood and thankfulness) both on and off the court and his leadership will strengthen our culture.
