Charlotte, N.C. -- Charlotte 49ers coach Ron Sanchez announces the addition of New England standout prep forward from St. Thomas More School in Connecticut, Jared Garcia, a 6-foot-8 forward from Katy, Texas, who has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the 49ers.
"We are excited about Jared Garcia who is a great addition to our University and basketball program," Sanchez said. "He has been coached by one of the best high school coaches on the east coast and has played against very good competition at St. Thomas More. Niner Nation will enjoy watching him next fall.
