Charlotte, N.C. -- Charlotte 49ers head men’s basketball coach Ron Sanchez announced the signing of NBA Global Academy post player Aly Khalifa, a 6-foot-10 forward/center from Alexandria, Egypt. Khalifa, who plays for the NBA Global Academy in Australia, played for the U17 Egyptian national team.
We are excited to have Aly join our program. He brings a wealth of experience having played at the NBA Global Academy and as a member of the Egyptian national team. Aly has a high basketball IQ and a great feel for the game. He is a very good passer and has good range from the three-point line.
