There is a different type of March Madness affecting the Charlotte softball team. So far this month, the 49ers are 6-12 and half of their 12 losses came against conference opponents. The performance by the ladies in green comes as a surprise, mainly because of their showing in February. The 49ers now have an overall record of 18-14 and are 2-7 in conference competitions.
