The Charlotte 49ers men's and women's cross country teams will head to the Conference USA Championships hosted by WKU, Saturday, Nov. 2 in Bowling Green, Ky.
"This is the first step of our championship season," said head coach Joseph Lynn, whose squads will head to the NCAA Regionals, Nov. 15 in Charlottesville, Va. "This is what we've been focusing on since June when we started training. Definitely picking up some momentum at the the right time. We have some really nice depth on both sides. I'm anticipating that depth to help us out."
Charlotte's men, which posted a runner-up finish at the league championships last year, are coming off a first-place finish at UAB's Blazer Classic, Oct.
