Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers (11-10) travel to Clemson, S.C., on Wednesday, March 4 to take on the Clemson Tigers, who are in their first season, in a doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. at Clemson Softball Stadium.

The Niners dropped four games last week in the Black and Garnet Challenge to Troy and No. 16 South Carolina after coming into the week on a nine-game winning streak. In the team's last game of the tournament against a ranked-USC team, the 49ers put up seven runs highlighted by sophomore Bailey Vannoy's second grand slam of the season.
