CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A total of 2,684 student-athletes were named to the Conference USA 2015-16 Commissioner's Honor Roll, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
210 Charlotte athletes were named to the list, the second most in the league. Only Rice named more with 243. Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better to earn placement on the list.
Softball led the way for the Niners, with 94% of its team gaining recognition, followed closely by women's tennis with 90% and volleyball with 86%.
Every sport at Charlotte was represented with at least a quarter percent of its roster being named to the Honor Roll.
