Augusta, Ga. -- Charlotte 49ers sophomore Siarra Stout tallied a 71 to lead the Niners in round three at Valspar Augusta Invitational. Charlotte finished fourth in the 12-team event, the 49ers third top five finish of the season.
Stout finished tied for ninth alongside fellow 49er Ashley Fowler, who shot a 75 in her final round of play. Sophomore Ellinor Sudow, the 49ers leader throughout the weekend, finished tied for third after turning in a 76 in round three, her first career top five finish. Freshman Cecilie Finne-Ipsen carded a 75 on Sunday and sophomore Jillian Farrell shot a 78 to complete tournament play for Charlotte.
