CHARLOTTE, NC – In our continued appreciation for those who have served and currently serve in our military, the Charlotte 49ers Department of Athletics announces the launch of the 2017 "Seats for Soldiers" campaign for this year's Military Appreciation football game on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 versus Middle Tennessee. Each year, the "Seats for Soldiers" program gives thanks to thousands of military service men and women, both active-duty and retired.
At the Military Appreciation Day game last year, fans were treated with a perfectly timed flyover and several other game-day elements that gave thanks to local military heroes, which even included a surprise proposal from one of the Charlotte 49ers ROTC cadets.
