Greensboro, N.C. – Charlotte won three singles matches but it was not enough as the 49ers (12-6) saw their six-match winning streak end with a narrow 4-3 loss on the road at UNC Greensboro (8-12).
UNC Greensboro won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. At number one doubles, Charlotte’s Vikram Hundal and Jordi Massalle Ferrer lost to UNC Greensboro’s Connor Thompson and Daniel Mack, 6-0. At number three doubles, Charlotte’s Sam Brazil and Sam Rice defeated UNC Greensboro’s Ian Melnik and Logan Blaser, 6-3, for their 10th win of the season.
