Jacksonville, Fla. — Charlotte captured the doubles point as well as two singles wins but the 49ers (5-6) fell to North Florida (4-6), 4-3, on the road in a tightly contested match.
Charlotte won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point for the second straight match. At number two doubles, Charlotte's Oriol Puig Forne and Alejandro Garcia Moreno lost to North Florida's Sahil Deshmukh and Till Von Winning, 6-1. At number three doubles, Charlotte's Sam Rice and Constandinos Christoforou defeated North Florida's Nilo Duarte and Joe Ellis, 6-1.
