Charlotte, N.C. –The Charlotte 49ers (6-4-6, C-USA: 2-1-5), who are seeded fourth, play fifth-seed New Mexico (8-4-4, C-USA; 3-2-2) in the Conference USA Tournament quarterfinals, Wednesday, November 8 at 2 p.m. The Conference USA Tournament will be played at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
On October 28, Charlotte and New Mexico played to a double overtime scoreless tie at New Mexico. The 49ers finished the game with a 19-16 advantage in shots. Charlotte leads the all-time series with New Mexico, 3-1-2. This marks the second straight season that Charlotte and New Mexico have played in the Conference USA Tournament.
