49ers Defeat Clemson in Close Match, 4-3

Clemson, S.C. - The Charlotte 49ers (4-3) beat ACC foe Clemson (4-2), 4-3, after claiming the doubles point and posting singles wins by Henry Lieberman, Constandinos Christoforou and Ignasi de Rueda on Saturday.

DOUBLES

Charlotte clinched the doubles point after winning two of three doubles matches. At number three doubles, the duo of Collin Thomson and de Rueda got their sixth doubles win of the season after defeating Clemson's Teodor Giusca and Carlos Kelaidis, 6-3. At number one doubles, Charlotte's Benjamin Wayand and Lieberman lost to Tigers' duo Pierre-Louis Dodens and Gabriel Diaz Freire, 3-6.
