Charlotte, N.C. – Behind four singles and two doubles wins, the Charlotte 49ers (11-5) recorded their fifth straight win with a 5-2 victory over Appalachian State (12-5) at the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex.
“Today was a great day!” Charlotte coach Jesse Tarr said. “First, we want to thank Zeta Tau Alpha and all of Niner Nation who came out to support Think Pink and our tennis programs. Appalachian State is a talented and experienced team. Our guys played gutsy tennis. This was a really good wins for us.”
Charlotte won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
