Gaffney, S.C. – Behind six singles and two doubles wins, the Charlotte 49ers (8-5) cruised past Limestone (6-8), 7-0, on the road.
Charlotte won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point. At number three doubles, Charlotte’s Jordi Massalle Ferrer and Jensen Martin defeated Limestone’s Giacomo Campus and Luka Stanec, 8-1. At number two doubles, Charlotte’s Vikram Hundal and Josh Aubrey clinched the doubles point for the 49ers with an 8-2 win over Limestone’s Guillermo Ortega and Gustavo D’Ascenzi. At number one doubles, Charlotte’s Sam Brazil and Sam Rice dropped a hard fought 8-5 decision to Limestone’s Stefano Soares and Benji Lascari Diaz.
