CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte's road trip continues Wednesday with a doubleheader against Gardner-Webb in Boiling Springs.
The first pitch of the Niners 2018 campaign final midweek games starts at 4 p.m.
Charlotte (14-28) and Runnin' Bulldogs (24-19) have met on the diamond 23 times, including twice each of the past eight seasons. The Niners carry a four-game winning streak over Gardner-Webb into the matchup and are 7-2-1 all-time in Boiling Springs.
The Bulldogs last won on their home field on April 11, 2012, claiming a 2-0 victory in game one of the doubleheader. The Niners won the nightcap, 8-5, beginning a five-game winning streak in Boiling Springs.
