CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers will be collecting donations to assist those impacted by Hurricane Florence at several upcoming athletic events. In addition, the 49ers football team will join with several teams in the Carolinas by wearing a "One Carolina" decal on its helmet, this Saturday, at Massachusetts.
"The Charlotte 49ers are here to support our fellow Carolinians who have suffered tremendous loss in the wake of Florence," said Charlotte Director of Athletics Mike Hill. "Our hearts are with those who are struggling during this difficult time and we stand ready to help those in need.
