Charlotte, N.C. -- Charlotte 49ers Director of Athletics Judy Rose has announced several staff changes and promotions as the 49ers begin the 2016-17 academic year.
Rose promoted long-time associate Darin Spease to Deputy Athletic Director. He had served as one of the 49ers two Senior Associate Athletic Directors to Rose. Kim Whitestone, who also was a Senior Associate A.D., was promoted to Executive Associate Athletic Director.
Chris Thomasson, who was the 49ers Associate Athletic Director for Football was promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director and will continue to oversee football operations.
