GREENVILLE, N.C. – The 20th-ranked Charlotte baseball program will play in the first regional game since 2011 when they begin the NCAA Greenville Regional vs. Maryland at 6pm Friday night. The 49ers, Conference USA's regular season champion, earned the #2 seed in Greenville, the highest-ever seed in program history. Host East Carolina and fourth-seeded Norfolk State round out the regional with the winner moving on to face the winner of the Vanderbilt Regional in the Supers.
