WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – For the second-straight weekend, the Charlotte 49ers volleyball took a pair of Saturday victories finishing off the William & Mary Colonial Classic with a 3-1 (25-11, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23) victory over Western Carolina. and were both named to the all-tournament team for their weekend efforts.
"This was an incredible weekend for our team," began Head Coach . "Friday's competition laid the groundwork for a great run in Saturday. We really matched up well against William & Mary with both teams featuring four freshmen on the court. That match gave us an opportunity to make several adjustments in the lineup and highlight key rotations that needed work.
