CHARLOTTE, N.C. – #16 Charlotte baseball put up three quick runs in the first, added insurance in the middle and got a pair of fantastic bullpen performances during a 6-5 win over UNCW to even up the final regular season series at Hayes Stadium.
"Tonight had that must-win feel," began Head Coach Robert Woodard. "I can't put my finger on it but obviously last night's result was part of it. The fan base showed up again tonight and was electric. That's all a good sign for us if we compete tonight like we did in a must-win environment.
