Miami, Fla. – In a battle of two twenty teams, the 10th-ranked Charlotte 49ers (8-1-4, C-USA: 3-0-3) tied 12th-ranked FIU (9-0-4, C-USA: 4-0-1), 0-0, on the road.
DEFENSE
Charlotte's defense behind the play of goalkeeper Elliot Panicco and defenders Patrick Hogan, Delasi Batse, Luke Johnson, Noah Seach and Sean Suber recorded their sixth shutout of the season. Panicco tied his season-high with five saves. Panicco has recorded 33 career shutouts.
