After dropping a competitive dual with No. 17 South Dakota State Friday night, No. 18 Central Michigan wrestling finished off their weekend road trip with a 19-16 loss to North Dakota State on Sunday.
CMU (1-3) won four out of 10 individual matches. This is the third straight dual loss for the Chippewas, all coming on the road with two against ranked opponents.
The dual kicked off with a battle at 125 pounds displaying two redshirt freshmen; Drew Hildebrandt against the Bison’s Paul Bianchi. Bianchi would score two takedowns and accumulate 3:44 of riding time to win 5-1.
