MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – One more chance for coach Tom Borrelli take a good long look at his Central Michigan wrestling team.
The Chippewas will wrestle Sunday in the Michigan State Open (9 a.m.). More than two dozen CMU wrestlers are scheduled to partake in the event, which comprises some 250 wrestlers in 10 weight classes representing more than 20 institutions.
The Chippewas are scheduled to wrestle in two weeks at the Cliff Kenn Invitational in Las Vegas and at the Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill. Both are considred among the best collegiate tournaments annually.
