MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The annual Central Michigan Wrestling Recognition Banquet is scheduled for Sunday, April 3, in the Anson Family Atrium adjacent to McGuirk Arena.
Alumni, family, friends and program supporters are invited. A social gathering begins at noon and lunch will be served at 1 p.m. followed by the awards presentations.
The Chippewas finished second in the Mid-American Conference Championships this season and qualified seven wrestlers for the NCAA Championships.
Freshman Justin Oliver earned All-America honors by placing seventh at 149 pounds at the NCAA Championships, and sophomore Jordan Ellingwood won the 184-pound crown at the MAC Championships.
