After earning it’s first Mid-American Conference win, the Central Michigan women's basketball team will be back in action at McGuirk arena Wednesday.
Following the team's 91-78 victory against Kent State on New Year's Eve, the Chippewas (9-4 overall, 1-0 MAC) will host Akron (7-5, 0-1) at 7 p.m.
For Akron, playing on the road will be nothing new for the Zips as eight of their 12 games have been away from home. CMU on the other hand, is 6-1 at McGuirk this season.
