Women's basketball recovers from early struggles, routs Charleston 79-58 in Hoops for Hunger game

Just two minutes had elapsed from the clock in the first quarter when the College of Charleston jumped out to an early 7-0 lead over the Central Michigan women's basketball team in the annual Hoops for Hunger game Friday afternoon at McGuirk Arena.

That didn't sit well with head coach Sue Guevara, who just days ago, picked up her 300th career win over Vanderbilt on Nov. 14.

A time out was called and the message to her team was clear: get it together.
