Women's basketball host Ball State in battle to top MAC West teams

After opening Mid-American Conference play with three straight victories, the Central Michigan women's basketball team will finish its homestead against Ball State Wednesday at 7 p.m.

CMU (11-4 overall, 3-0 MAC) has averaged 89.3 points per game while shooting an average of 48 percent from the field. The Chippewas have won all of those contests by double-digits as well.

Ball State enters the game 10-5 overall and 3-0 in the MAC West as well. Northern Illinois is also 3-0 in conference play, while Western Michigan and Toledo are 2-1.
