CMU's first round Women's National Invitation Tournament game against Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis was paused after the first quarter due to a medical situation at the scorer's table at McGuirk Arena, Thursday.
According to the team's Twitter account, it was a courtside official. He appeared faint and was then helped into a laying position before medical personnel came to his assistant.
The game was paused for about 15 minutes while the man was being attended to. Both teams, cheerleaders, dance team and 6th Man Band cleared the court, before returning to warmup before continuing the second quarter.
