Women's basketball draws Wright State in round one of WNIT

The Central Michigan women's basketball team's resume earned them a spot in this year's Women's National Invitational Tournament.

The Chippewas will take take on Wright State (24-8, 15-3 Horizon League) on Thursday the Nutter Center in Fairborn, Ohio. The start time for the game is expected to be announced Tuesday.

CMU finished the season 23-8 and 15-3 Mid-American Conference and were winners of the MAC regular season title.

The Chippewas fell to Western Michigan, 67-63, in the quarterfinals of the MAC Tournament.
