MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan volleyball coach Mike Gawlik has announced the hiring of Krista Rice as an assistant coach.
Rice was an assistant for the past two seasons at Toledo. She previously served as a volunteer assistant at Michigan State and as an assistant at NAIA Davenport.
“Krista is a tremendous addition to our CMU volleyball family,” said Gawlik, who was named the Chippewas’ coach on Jan. 28 after working on the Michigan State coaching staff for 11 years. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with Krista in the past at Michigan State and always thought very highly of her abilities in the gym, office and on the recruiting trail.
